Education
Through cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary education collaborations, we aim to develop new joint study programs based on courses and education resources from our universities. These study programs will be established around focus areas we prioritize and where we have unique competencies.
We aim to support student exchange between our universities. Students participating in joint programs and exchanges will benefit from the expertise provided by each of the universities involved, and will graduate with international experience, skills and know-how suited for Arctic needs.
So far, the Arctic five has developed a joint master program in tourism.
The Arctic five has also launched a collaboration between three Arctic oriented doctoral schools, at Umeå university, University of Lapland and UiT – The Arctic University of Norway.
If you want to develop a joint education between the Arctic five universities, contact the Arctic five Education working group for support. The Arctic five Education working group initiates and coordinates joint education activities within the Arctic five.
